PHOTOGRAPHY
In the early 2000s, Kurasch began working in photography. Her photograph Heaven (2009) was published in the book of the same title in association with The Art of Elysium and Shepard Fairey, and her work was featured in The Art of Elysium’s annual Pieces of Heaven charity art auction in Los Angeles. Her Tom Petty Series was included in Tom Petty: Off the Record, a Bonhams Los Angeles estate auction to benefit various charities. Her photographs are also held in private collections.

ART AUCTION
On January 16, 2010, The Art of Elysium celebrated twelve years of inspiring artists and inspiring children at “Heaven”, the annual black tie Gala. In connection with this event, works of art were donated for auction by artists, dealers and private collectors.
Some of the featured artists include Julie Blackmon, Russell Young, Herb Ritts, Ed Moses, Elijah Wood, Scott Caan, Miya Ando, Hiroshi Watanabe, Alex Prager, Alison Van Pelt, Henry Diltz, Mona Khun, Todd Hido, Kathy Kurasch. Lisa Solberg and Shepard Fairey.
