Kathy is working with recording artist Valerie Carter, addressing the media about her battles throughout her career with addiction with the hope of helping other artists who battle the same. Kathy and Valerie's work has spanned over 35 years along with James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, Lyle Lovett, Edwin McCain, Kate Markowitz, and the late Phoebe Snow. They will be in the studio for the first time with friends free from substance abuse.

Kathy has reunited with some of the greatest musicians, writers, artists, engineers, and producers of all time, including grammy engineer/producer Ken Caillat (Fleetwood Mac), author of "Making Rumours", and father of Colbie Caillat, to help mentor and develop new young artists, putting them with the "new" writers of today, and visual artists including Randee St. Nicholas, launching them into this new viral world we now know as the music business.
